Christkindlmarkt

An entire Renaissance castle in pre-Christmas splendour, gift hunting at regional craft businesses and an atmospheric accompanying programme for the whole family - that's what makes the Schallaburg Christmas Market so special. 

Over 130 exhibitors from all over Austria present their unique handmade products in the rooms of Schallaburg Castle and in the castle garden. A wide range of old and rare handicrafts are on offer. The selection ranges from jewellery and ceramics, textiles and accessories to wooden and wrought-iron works of art.

The romantic Advent village opens its doors in the castle garden and offers an atmospheric supporting programme.
